Injustice

 

This project was very exciting for me.  I am a huge fan of fighting games like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat.  It was awesome to be able to contribute to a new fighting game.  I was very happy to see Injustice get to be a part of the EVO tournament.

This was a smaller project at Blur and I took on the character lead for this show about halfway through character modeling.  I mainly supervised the creation of Batman and Solomon Grundy.

Aside from supervising, the major production work I did was polishing the face of Wonder Woman.  One of our talented character artists/scene assemblers started it and I put the final polish on it before rendering.  Kind of random, but this was also the project where I first came up with the new teeth shader that we use on our characters at Blur.

This project was done around summer 2012.  Modeling done in max, sculpting was done in ZBrush, a bit of texturing I did with Mari and it was rendered with VRay.
